From Short Changed to System Change – WY-FI Annual Learning Event 2017

The WY-FI Project supports people with multiple needs across West Yorkshire. At their annual learning event this year, they will share their learning from year 3 of the WY-FI Project in relation to:

  • effective beneficiary engagement
  • the impact of integrated multi-agency work, and
  • the benefits of co-production

Touchstone’s own Alison Lowe and Jennie McCreight will both be part of the programme at the event.

Alison will be speaking about the WY-FI System Change Action Network and how system change happens locally.

Jennie – the Education, Training and Employment Coordinator for the WY-FI project – will be leading a workshop on “Learning for Recovery”.

Other speakers and workshop facilitators include:

  •  Dr Richard Crisp from Sheffield Hallam University
  • Laura Furness from the Big Lottery Fund
  • Anna Randle from Collaborate
  • Sarah Joseph from University of Leeds
  • Ian Wilson from Sheffield Hallam University

  • West Yorkshire service providers for people experiencing homelessness, addiction, re-offending and/or mental ill health.
  • West Yorkshire MPs with an interest in homelessness, addiction, re-offending and/or mental ill health.

The event takes place at St George’s Conference Centre in Leeds on Thursday 27th April.
