This role is fixed term for 15 months
Substantial travel across Wakefield and occasional evening and weekend work will be required
We are looking for an experienced community development worker who can engage and inspire migrants across the Wakefield district, using Asset Based Community Development approaches. Working in partnership with Wakefield Council and a range of other organisations, you will set up a brand new exciting Migrant Community Networker programme. You will identify, encourage and support people to volunteer, enhancing community capacity, engendering resilience and offering strategic insight to a broad range of partners.
